I do think that 6apart is destroying the site, they think because there wasn't a mass exodus that people are apathetic and don't care what is happening, but most of the people I know are backing up their journals at other sites... Planning to leave sooner or later.
Most of the people I know hate change and don't want to burn their bridges/connections with friends here at lj, but speaking for myself I don't have any friends here at lj who aren't friends elsewhere online.
I had just recently paid for my lj and I don't want to be rushed into moving elsewhere... but that doesn't mean that I'm a loyal and happy customer. 6apart's efforts to make this the site they want is going to end up making this a ghost town, and they will lose their investment as they lose their customers.
So do you think insanejournal is the better site? I know a lot of people who seem to be moving (slowly but surely) to greatestjournal. It is the fragmenting that is so disappointing....
Yeah, we were slow to get to the HP discussion because Leena stopped reading after Hedwig was blown up and didn't get back to it for weeks.
