I've given up on trying to guess what eye colour some comic book characters are supposed to have, since it changes with artists.
And I have the same issues with Ultimate Magneto that you do. Or really, a lot of the Ultimate characters. I'm amused by some aspects of the Ultimate verse, but refuse to take it seriously, because when you think of events like Ultimatum...yeah.
