LJ is down again, and I'm going through a serious case of withdrawal. Ironic that after all these months of non-posting, it's now that I suddenly feel more chatty and sociable.

Anyway, my flist is impossibly slow-moving on DW. I've added some new people, but I would appreciate recs for fannish-type people and communities here on DW. I'd list all the fandoms I like, but I can't even remember them myself off the top of my head.

I guess the Network ("friendsfriends") page doesn't work for free accounts - otherwise it's a great way of finding interesting journals. Just trawling other people's friends pages will work, too, though!

Au contraire! One of the simply awesome aspects of DreamWidth is that you can piggyback on other people's 'friendsoffriends' page! Find someone with a paid account in your reading circle, click on the F o F link on their top page, et voilà! You're in business!

You can try going to the Latest Things. There's also dw_community_promo and followfriday. You might also want to do a site search for "Follow Friday" :)
