Not that it will be exactly noticeable with the (non) frequency I normally post, but I'll be away for the next two weeks or so. Heading off to the Peloponese to see some sights and catch some desperately-needed sun.

At the very least it will keep me from looking enviously at all the HP and the Half-Blood Prince reviews on my flist and counting down the days until the late AUGUST release date here.

Be good, everyone. I expect to find the Internet undamaged when I get back! :P

Interest in your possible trip to NYC in the Fall is bubbling – last I spoke to Teratologist she asked if you were still coming over. I wish I could offer crash space for you, as I know that would make things easier; if I move out of this shithole and get my own space my circumstances change I will certainly let you know. But do keep us New Yorkers updated on the possibility of meeting you! :D

Believe me, if I could go now, I'd be there tomorrow (and accomodation is not a problem-my friend who lives there has a spare couch, but I appreciate the thought).

Right now I need some time to financially recover from my holidays (this one and the one I'm going to in two weeks), not to mention the extra stress of the entrance exam I'm waiting for still not being announced (don't ask. Greek bureaucracy and politics and this country being a motherfucking mess in all conceivable ways). That said, I'm determined to make this trip as soon as humanely possible-I want to meet you and see NY like you wouldn't believe!
