I finally got a Dreamwidth account (same username), though I'm planning to crosspost everything for now. I'm psyched about the site, but am trying to avoid getting carried away, considering the numerous previous failed fandom migrations (ask me again in about six months).


Mind you, the crossposting will have to be done manually, since Dreamwidth so far only allows me to add one site for crossposting. Is that the case for all free DW accounts?

Btw, leave me a note if you have a DW account, especially if you're planning to make it your primary journal.

You need a paid account to be able to crosspost to more than one site, if I'm not mistaken.

Yeah, I figured it was a free account limitation.

I prefer lj so far only because DW is still comparatively so quiet.

I went ahead and joined dreamwidth (because of the 'free' probably being short lived, and to secure my name as 'embers' which I didn't get here at lj in time to do)
but I plan to only post here.... unless lj does something (again) to piss me off, in which case I'll have dreamwidth ready and waiting....
