-As viewers we've seen all the fucked-up crap that has happened to Deb in this show, but watching her lay it all out for the shrink really brought it home (and the shrink's response about maybe needing to meet more than once of week-gee, you think?)

-Masuka needs his own hilariously inappropriate advice column. Watching him drop some wisdom on Louis was the funniest part of this episode (I think “When it comes to matters of the heart, follow your dick” is his whole life philosophy).

-Quinn's one night stand: BWAH-HA-HA-HA! It's a bit of a cheap joke, but it still cracked me up, especially combined with Angel's barely disguised glee. And there are PICTURES!

-I wish that random woman hadn't interrupted Angel giving him a much-deserved ass-whooping. Seriously, how douchey can Quinn get?

-Is this the first time that Dexter has admitted to himself (or ghost!Harry, as it were) that maybe Harry could have done more to prevent him from being a serial killer, as opposed to a very picky one?

-Could Richard Dawkins Professor Casey be more of a caricature? I was half-inclined to be offended by having that dude represent the atheist pov on the show, until I remembered we do have a major atheist character: Dexter. And, ok, he's a serial killer, but generally not a dickish one.

-Like Deb, I call bullshit on the shrink's assesment of Deb picking the wrong men. I mean, she's got a point for most of them, but no way in hell could have Deb known about Rudy/Brian-he specifically targeted her because of Dexter, ffs!

-Of COURSE Laguerta was covering up for Matthews. Called it! Deb had better watch her back.

-Dexter's confusion about the extended chair metaphor was kind of adorkable.

-I wanna hang out in Louis' apartment! Or at least I did, until I saw the ITK prosthetic arm (and I might even overlook that, just to be around the bitchin' Enterprise model. Louis is SO not a geek).

-Was dead!Gellar supposed to be a twist? Because three quarters of viewers have already figured that bit out. The killer(s) in this season is kind of a miss-the murders are visually stunning/disturbing, but neither Travis nor Gellar managed to generate one iota of menace or charisma, which is a damned shame, since I know for a fact the actors are better than this. I've been enjoying a lot of things anyway, like the Brother Sam stuff, Deb's arc and all of Dexter's internal turmoil, but I'm not impressed with the big arc-though I'll reserve final judgement until it's done.
