Omg! I totally saw that one from the garden a few weeks ago on a random comics search, I was hoping someone would post that!
Oh man, I am so happy that you're doing this. It's totally the kind of thing I do when I get into a fandom (when I had time, haha;;). So thanks for that! I recently started reading the X-men comics after most of my experience growing up being the animated series and sporatic comic purchases (I was a geek but I bought the wrong comics, so embarrassing!)
I skipped the first 90 or so/original issues since they're uh, horrible and punnish and awkward-slightly hilariously dated. But one of my childhood role models being Storm (maybe -the- role model), and maybe second to that being Rogue I definitely had to start up once they did the "older" group of Xmen. I'm really hoping to get through all of it but it's kinda slow going I suppose.
I kind of forgot the point of what I was saying here, but yeah, thanks, the Charles/Erik-ness in the future is a good way to keep me inspired, and also yay for people reading original source material and sharing ^^.
