Rereading some of those older issues, I'm kind of amazed at how much subtext I missed the first time around (due to being about 14 at the time, and barely speaking any English).
I have an odd fondness for 90s and 80s art. I can see how some of it is so objectively bad, but it was the first "look" of the characters I ever saw, so it's definitely nostalgia-inducing.
