I loved the film, but I did feel a little cheated by the ending. I felt all this time and money and energy had gone into selling me a movie-canon origins and setting up the personal relationship between Erik and Charles and making it *work* only to yank it away again so soon. I guess when I heard there would be an "origins" trilogy, I wanted to see so much more of that relationship, its development over the years, the foundation of the school, etc.
But other than that it was great and I suppose a film that leaves you wanting more is a good film! That said, I classify any film with 5 seconds of Wolverine as a good film :-)
