I loved Darla, and Darla/Angel particularly, so I may have been biased. And baby Connor was so adorable. But I definitely see where you're coming from.

I loved the spin the bottle episode in S4 until it endeth in suck, and large parts of S5 and most of S3. I loved the characters, the concept, the monster of the week episodes, the earlier major story archs, which is why it has always been incomprehensible to me why they had to introduce all this strangeness and utterly destroy established, beloved characters.
