I think Joss' message is very well-intentioned, but the execution on getting said message across could be better. Less gratuitous skimpy outfits, for one thing. I totally see the statement he's trying to make, but the fact some posters at Whedonesque are STILL arguing about whether it's rape means it flies right over the heads of a good portion of the (male) audience.
