Well, my Internet is back. And all it took is two weeks, me calling the phone company ten times a day, going to their offices to hassle them in person, having a minor breakdown and sacrificing several small animals to the devil. (Totally worth it!)


-We definitely needed a break from the doom and gloom after last week-mind you, only in Battlestar Galactica would an episode which includes the beginnings of a mutiny, a character turning traitor and casual death threat be considered ‘lighthearted’. Hey, as long as nobody commited suicide, was raped or airlocked, it’s all good.

-Oh, Felix. The development was not surprising: between the webpisodes and losing Dee (to say nothing of New Caprica and the fallout), the character has truly lost all that he can. Still-this can’t end well.

-I hate baby storylines as a rule, but there’s something delightfully amusing about Tigh and Six cooing over their unborn baby toaster. And bless Cottle, the last remaining unrepentant smoker in a nicotine-free television.

-Nicky has two daddies! And apparently taking shots at Callie never gets old.

-I’m happy for Adama and Roslin gettin’ their freak on, and even happier we didn’t actually see it. It’d be like watching your parents have sex.

-Barely any Starbuck, but I loved her and Gaeta verbally cutting each other to shreds. It was kind of hot.

In other news, I’m rewatching Merlin season 1 with ariadneelda, and mimine joined us today for episodes 109 and 110, even though she’d never seen it before. Suffice to say, the silliness is only enhanced when watching it out of context.

Merlin is unable to keep Uther from taking Excalibur: -mimine: Wait, so now UTHER has Excalibur? But…but…
Me: What did I tell you about using your brain during this show?

Uther tells Merlin to ‘take care’ of Arthurmimine: Aw, the father-in-law gave them his blessing!

Arthur, ending his rousing speech to the villagers with “Free Eldor!- Me and mimine: “Free alcohol?”
Me: Well, their are English. Sort of.

Merlin, talking to Will about magic-mimine: The ex is kind of bitter. And wait, Merlin will help with magic? What is he going to do, use that little fire he makes?
Me: He can do other stuff, trust me!

During the attack, Merlin uses his powers to start the fire Me: No, really.

Merlin helping Arthur into his armour:mimine: Wait, he dresses him?
Me: Oh, yeah.
mimine: And undresses him! Aw, are they going to kiss? Morgana interrupts moment
Me: BAD timing!
mimine:Damn you, Morgana!

Alexander’s Siddig character fighting Arthur:mimine: He’s got a bit of a Rahm Emmanuel vibe.
Me: And Gaius from Galactica!
mimine: An improved mix of both.
Me: But taller. Arthur stabs him Noooo, Bashiiir!
mimine: Don’t kill the pretty!
