Oh I am right there with you w/the Donna love (although actually I knew I was going to love her just from that Christmas special... because even if she just bitched and moaned it would have been fun.... as it is, she is BRILLIANT!). Her Mum is pure evil, but of course even her Grandpa was disappointing, only the Doctor and Rose could see how vital Donna was to saving the whole world! I cried a lot, I loved this episode... and you're right: it was all perfect Donna, capable of gaining perspective and adapting to new ideas even when she was down in the dumps (and being blamed by her Mum).
