This makes me very happy! In that you're the second comic fan person on my flist that's seen it and liked it. That makes me hopeful for when I get to see it myself.
I wasn't too hot on Maguire either, I think Garfield has more of the look and if the film follows through on what the trailers promise, then he's got good dialogue. Which really IS essential for Spidey.
Love your points about his arse *G* It's true, he does get a lot of nice, em, exposure ;-) Though I do also appreciate Cap on the big screen - now we're talking about nice bodies in spandex.
