You know, I still haven't gotten around to seeing the cartoons, except a few stray episodes back when they aired. But my sources tell me the Charles/Erik is off the charts in certain episodes, so your nine year old budding slasher tendencies were definitely not groundless (though impressive. I never started noticing slashiness until well into my teens).
