This is just fabulous (yes I am an old X-geek and yes right now I have gone through the house and am re reading most the Claremont/Byrne, Morrison and Whedon era runs, sorta all at once..) I had found X Men 200 (and like you was disbelieving at the epic slashiness of That Scene) but I donlt actually remeber Maggie running the Mutants (which is funny as I had quite an intense pash for Ilyana) - so what issue nos was that??
Also, OT, but "if we attempt to unravel the Scott Summers family tree , we'll be here all year" - helpless laughter - whatver DID happen to Madelyne Pryor ? (dear lord what a name! ) - by Morrison , Real Jean is back - was Maddie an ilusion/alien/figment of Cyclop's psyche?? I missed entire nathan/Cable thing I think..
