I didn't know that was Claremont's goodbye to the series-I had a vague idea he stopped writing sometime around the 90s, but not the specific issue.
I have to say, recent developments in comics contrasted with the old issues I went through have given me a whole new appreciation for Claremont. I mean, yes, the dialogue and exposition, but on the other hand, his writing had *heart*, something sadly missing from a lot of current writers.
