But what exactly constitutes 'human'? If it is DNA (and I would argue that it is since the whole soul question is pretty nebulous) then vampires (and Borg who started out as human) would still be humans.... Clearly I'm being annoying by insisting on this ridiculous point... but we had snow today and I haven't been outside all day (which makes me irritable and argumentative). ;)
