Actually you have been a huge friend to my fandom feelings: I have to thank you again for sending that disk of Dexter's season 2! It was so awesome to go through that until I was just making myself sick (both from lack of sleep and from too many gory scenes). It was quite the orgy! I'll be interested to see what Dexter's S4 is all about, because I didn't hate 3 as much as others did (there were still some very interesting things happening IMO).
Yeah, the X-files movie was dreadful, I cannot believe that anyone approved that script, and clearly David had forgotten who Mulder was (Scully was better, but she couldn't hold this mess together all by herself, in fact she wasn't even given enough to do). I was so disappointed, I had seen a panel at a local convention before the movie came out, and it was so cool to get to see everyone in person and they all seemed to believe they were making a great film (they were in the middle of filming it at the time of the convention). *sigh*
I think Joss is going to kick ass w/this second season of Dollhouse. At least I hope he really goes for it. It was a miracle that it got renewed so I don't think he should waste that by playing it safe! And although it feels like a void, biffsbabe has come around to liking the show, and liluv SAID she'd give it another chance (she gave up on episode 2 or 3).... taliamama still hasn't watched any of it.... but I have a number of friends who TiVoed and ended up big fans after those latter episodes.... (I've actually come to love all the characters, I even want Dominic rescued from the Attic!)
So yeah, there is no chance of me growing out of this any time soon!
