I totally agree about the date rape, and I found that to be one of the worst things about series 1 of Torchwood, that there were never any consequences.... However liluv and talimama both thought that it was supposed to be funny (which I didn't get at all), so I wasn't sure if it was just my issue with the character. I was very upset w/Gwen for hooking up w/Owen, not because she was cheating on her boyfriend, but because she had such bad taste to hook up with Owen (anyone else would have been better).
But I was glad that the character was given some more sensitive qualities recently (still not crying over his 'death' though).
