I am not a lot of help, I'm afraid! About all I can offer is fail_fandomanon, which is a completely anonymous multi-fandom community. Lots of fun discussions, and it's a great way to get to chat about older or smaller fandoms that are hard to find active spaces for, though of course it's all anonmyous so it's not quite the same as having a circle of fandom friends.
