I've only seen it in 3D. I'm not a particular 3D fan, but I think it worked ok well for it. But I could also have lived fine with it in 2D - but to begin with, you could only see it in 3D, and it seems to be always shown on the biggest screens in 3D.
Mark Ruffalo, WHY SO AWESOME? I can't get over how much I like Bruce/The Hulk is this. I know. He does it so well, gah!
but this is the one that surprised me, because HULK. I hadn't thought much about Hulk pre-first viewing, because basically I was all about Iron Man due to RDJ. But at some point I realized/remembered, that of all these characters, the one I read and loved the most as a kid was definitely The Hulk! I shopped around a lot in superhero comics as a kid, being obsessed with Green Lantern one month, then Spiderman the next, until I fell for The Phantom completely, and stopped reading all other superheroes. So I don't remember/know very much about any superhero, so I don't know how far Ruffalo's Hulk is from the Hulk that I loved, but LONG STORY SHORT, he works excellently for me!
Natasha/Clint=OTP FOREVER AND EVER. YES! They can have all the sex they want to, but I'm also madly in love with just their platonic relationshsip - being completely comfortable in each other's physical space, and as I'm commenting everywhere, I don't care that you could guess it coming, I LOVE Clint's "You and I remember Budapest very differently!".
Or Natasha/Bruce I support any two Avengers who feel like getting it on! Today I'm especially interested in Steve/Natasha, though. And Steve/Bruce - mmm, they'd both be trying to be more polite than the other, it'd be hilarious (in my world…). And cute. And then at some point they'd stop being polite and it'd be hawt.
the ship name is apparently "Stony". Oh, fandom! Yes, but did you hear the name for Tony/Steve/Bruce? Stark Spangled Banner! I lol'd.
So I was feeling vaguely bummed about the Avengers going in their different directions in the end instead of shacking up in a mansion, but then I saw Tony and Pepper pouring over plans inside a half-destroyed Stark Tower and the giant "A" outside and OH YES. IF THIS IS GOING WHERE I THINK IT IS, I APPROVE. I DIDN'T GET IT UNTIL SOMEONE POINTED IT OUT WITH TEXT AND HELPFUL .GIFS BUT I APPROVE NOW!!!
