It’s fucking disturbing because I truly believe this is exactly how it would go (and I’m not pointing fingers at the UK, either. It would go so in most places. It’s especially topical, between the rise of the BNP and far-right movements in general, the Daily Mail articles with their lovely fear-mongering and talking about ‘chavs’ and ‘lazy people on benefits’ as if they’re less than human…you know. UNITS.

yes. I had to cut it off and just cry for a while, because I teach at a school that would be one of the ones with that targeted 10%, and just HELL FUCKING NO. I was watching that one teacher screaming at the soldiers that they couldn't take the kids, and I was like, buddy, you'd have to fucking SHOOT me before you took any of my students. Even the awful ones. :|
