They telegraphed Uncle Agravaine being a bad guy from the first moment on. The black clothing, slicked back hair and generally dark demeanour didn't exactly say "love me, I'm a good guy". Which is a shame because Nathaniel Parker is a great actor when given the chance. But Merlin's never been a subtle show (sadly).

I don't know what the point of him throwing in with Morganna is. She's Uther's bastard daughter, and he's Igraine's brother so why would they be allies? Except Igraine had magic so he might too. Plus I suspect he'll be trying to get inside her gown at first chance. ;)
