Man, I loved this (honestly kind of terrible) series SO MUCH! Charles and Erik hang out at their beach house and snark at each other and scare the kids! I could read that forever! It's very true that Erik and Wanda (and Pietro) are both seriously damaged people, though I think Wanda is in a better position to recover than her father is. And the generation after that seems to be doing pretty well!

I'm pretty sure the Once and Future King references started in the movieverse - I can't remember it ever being mentioned in the comics before this. Not even in the original Excalibur run!
