To be honest, I mainlined through over a decade of comics so fast in my recent catch-up (I stopped buying them in the late 90s because they got too expensive, and then I discovered torrents), I only have a fuzzy impression of Cassandra. I definitely think she was effective as a creepy villain, but I didn't like they used her to retcon some of Xavier's stupider decisions (like that time he outed all the X-Men on TV without consulting them first). It's like they used her as the mirror opposite of Xavier where she was the "evil" one (because that seems to be the only route for Marvel as far as overly powerful female mutants are concerned), but I'm uncomfortable with the implication Charles is the "good" one, because he's done some pretty sketchy things over the years.
