Heh, I don't think I've ever taken on anything this ambitious when getting into a new fandom before. But there's something about the crack of comics that begs to be shared.

I skipped the first 90 or so/original issues since they're uh, horrible and punnish and awkward-slightly hilariously dated.

Are you referring to the original X-Men of the 60s or just the early issues of Uncanny X-Men in the mid 70s? Because I recently tried to read the former and...no. Just, no. But the latter is what got me into comics (at the time I didn't speak English and there were Greek translations of the 70s/80s X-Men comics), so it'll always hold a special place in my heart.


And Storm is the BEST. She was one of my major rolemodels too.

Good luck with reading the comic books. I know it's a lot, but you can always skim the boring bits.
