-Speaking of other Marvel connections, I snickered out loud as the “Is this one of Stark's? -I don't know, he never tells me anything” exchange.
The sound you heard? That was me slapping my forehead at finally getting that one. I didn't get it not even when I found out after the movie that there is such a thing as the Avengers and Iron Man is part of them. When I saw it I was wondering how advanced that S.H.I.E.L.D. organisation must be that they have some mysterious Stark guy who makes killer robots.
I feel too stupid to live right now.
I totally felt for Loki. Poor Loki with his manpain. As for Thor/Loki it's not like there are many slashy options in the film, there is Titus Pullo, the Asian guy, the blond guy and Heimdal (I'm thinking there might be a size issue here). I could hardly tell that it was Idris Elba under all that iron but I loved his voice.
Kenneth Branaugh wouldn't have been the kind of person I would expect to make a movie like that but I think it was well done. Not as good as the Iron Man movies but certainly watchable.
