She really had a talent for fucking things up, didn't she. ;) But her fucked-up-ness is exactly one of the reasons I love her.

It's been way too many years since I watched the original BSG and I don't really remember the original Starbuck but I'm SO glad for the gender switch that gave us such an awesome female character. If only I could have grown up with this kind of female characters.
