Well I was amazed at how reasonable the price of the convention itself was (although the ball is fairly pricey), and how really reasonable the housing was (the advantage of University housing?), but the only flights I can see for next July are sky high (prices might come down... but can I commit myself on the hope they will?)!

I'm attending another Terry Pratchett Discworld Convention July 8-11 (in Madison, Wisconsin, just a short drive from me), so maybe I'm foolish to think I could get to a Harry Potter convention so soon after that.... I'm sure it will be incredible fun though!
